Phonology and Writing

Consonants in ᴋyZ̄ʟoFɑ change their sound depending on whether they're before or after the vowel in a root word.

**The place of articulation of ʟ may be changed depending on the place of articulation of the previous consonant.

A macron is added over a consonant to devoice it. This is only done with fricatives.

All words in ᴋyZ̄ʟoFɑ are formed by one or more root words. To distinguish between the roots that make up a word, the first letter of each root other than the first one in the word is capitalized.

The word "ᴋyZ̄ʟoFɑ", for example, is made up of the root words "ᴋy", "z̄ʟo", and "ꜰɑ".

All root words are one syllable.
